If you’ve ever wondered how much information Google can gather about you, here’s a guide to how you can download your personal data.

First, go to your account dashboard here: https://myaccount.google.com/

  1. On the left navigation panel, click Data & personalization.


2. Scroll to the Things you can create and do option, and then click on the Go to Google Dashboard

3, After the new page is open, click on the Download your data from the “See and manage in your Google Account”

4. Here is what you need to select in order to export your data:

As you can see, there are lots of information that Google knows about us.

4. Click Next StepĀ and select how Google will send you your data?

If you chose “Send download link via email”, when your files are ready, you’ll get an email with a download link. You’ll have one week to download your files.

5. Select frequency, how often would you like to export your data:

6. Click on Create export

And that’s it! This process can take a long time (possibly hours or days) to complete. You’ll receive an email when your export is done.
